*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

After sticking in a few hours on War thunder I'd of happily paid £30 for it. Just unlocked the first British bomber and there's something satisfying about dropping bombs from above the clouds. Even the tension of waiting 30 seconds to see if your bombs hit their target is excellent. Love it :)

Yeah, make sure you enter the hyphens when entering the card number rather than spaces or one big card number :)

Just tried this but as soon as I clicked it seemed to delete the hyphens (in between each group of 4 numbers) and once I'd put my address details in and clicked OK, it tells me my "credit card information is not valid, please check your entries carefully (E-8200002E)"!?!?!?!?!?

Any other idea's??

Yeah, do it on the website :D waaaayyy less hassle.

If it comes with it there is a gold band on the box saying Including china rising DLC and a code in the box.

Amazon advertised it as is this but then changed the page once people started complaining as they sent just the normal version out. EA have confirmed only the boxes with the text will included the code.

This is BF4 with DLC.

Thanks.

I had a chat online with customer support. They tried to hand me off to EA stating they let them down and didn't supply amazon with the codes. I made the point that my contract to buy the game, with DLC, was not with the publisher but with Amazon. They told me to wait out until they got the codes. Not very good really.

I've had a look in my history and it looks like I had PS+ for a month back in 2011 (although I'm sure it was given free for some ****-up or other at the time) so I guess I don't qualify for the free trial!?!?!

Another issue is that I can't seem to add a credit card number to pay for the 1-year subscription - it keeps telling me that the number is wrong (and it most definitely isn't!!) - anyone had a similar problem??

Its been disabled on that menu but you can imput it on the Account Management tab and it works :).

I have started to notice a little "pitting" on my analogue stick rubber, like some people have reported online. Anyone else experiencing this? Tempted to send them back for replacement.

few things,

I didnt realise until last night you can get full audio through the controller... or that you cant turn the speach off in-game on the camera so need to start a party chat or i get strange people talking to me on COD :(

this thing keeps impressing me, although putting in lego before shutting the console down just so i can go to bed and play it on my vita isnt a good way to get to sleep... good fun though :)

they should have sold this with the Vita as standard as it has so much potential to be very very good... im going to take my vita out with me next time i go to my dads just to try it out from a different network.

finally... why the hell does the vita only have 1 user, yes i get its so they can sell more handhelds but we have 1 playstation in our house with 3 users (me, wife, daughter) yet i can only access my games on the vita... my wife wanted to play knack while the kids watched a film but couldnt as she didnt want to play my game... such a small thing but i am not spending £150 + memory cards etc... just to get a second vita :(

What a load of ****!!!!

Whether on the PS4 itself or online, I simply can't get the Sony system to accept my credit card details!?!?!?!

I've tried it in one long number, with hyphens and with spaces and it keeps telling me that i must enter a valid credit card number!?!?! (and this is a card that I've used successfully earlier in the day elsewhere online!)

Ok I admit it, I am addicted to Knack >.>
Plus it's very pretty at times!

"Screenshots" (aka off screen camera xD) of various levels (from later ish levels chapter 9+ I think), I know PS4 can take screenshots but you need FB to upload them I think? I don't have FB :\ Correct me if I am wrong though!

Yeah in store, you need to buy something else with it though, I was buying the extra controller and charging stand anyway, but the guy said it applied to blu rays other games etc.

Warframe takes a little time to get into, mainly because nothing is explained.

It boils down to follow the objective markers, shoot what ever is in the way in the face, collect bits and bobs, build other guns and suits.
I've been using the the space ninja thing to start off with, then paid £20 for some platinum and bought Trinity and a couple of guns.
I figured £20 for a solid weekend of entertainment was a fair price, I'll just grind now for everything else.

Thanks will look into that deal at Game. Wouldn't mind a charging stand.

Will give Warframe another go but it's a case of so many games too little time at the moment! :o

I tried Remote Play with my Vita tethered to a 3g phone earlier... to my surprise it worked quite well! The picture did become more pixelated but the controls were almost as responsive as on wifi. Would be interesting to see how it performs on 4g, and I imagine any decent wifi would be fine. Also you can use the voice commands remotely too.

I think the reason for the single account is that Vita is generally regarded as a personal device and not one that is routinely shared.
