My amazon delivery changed to on the way but maybe late and it also says delayed due to external factors. Let’s hope it hasn’t been stolen.
Now the transaction on my bank statement disappeared. It was pending past few days and the money is back in my account. Anyone having this issue ?

Had another total power off situation last night. I had been playing MM, pressed PS button, went home. Opened The Division 2. Boom. Lights out. Had to rebuild and repair. No loss of data, but it is slightly concerning.

After the rebuild and repair of the External, it asks me to Submit a crash report.

Can anyone tell me what the age restrictions are for child accounts? I've been trying to create child account for my son, but when rejects his DOB due to age restrictions. It seems odd to not be able to create child accounts.

I've recently just done this. If you want him to have a PSN account as in a live version so he can play online you need to spoof the DOB.

If you want to restrict the games he can play then you need to create a Sub account under your account. That allows the parental controls. However, doing this wont keep his trophies when he eventually gets his own PSN account.

I've just set my daughter upwith her own PSN account and set all the privacy settings to Private so she cannot receive messages, invites etc. I felt this was the better choice in the long run. She's just turned 5 and I monitor everything she plays.

It's the only way I could find around it. If he has his own PSN account though and not a sub account then you cannot manage that account via Parental Controls. Its a bit sucky the way it works.

Has anyone noticed that PS4 games installed on your external HDD, when they receive a patch, the patch gets installed to the SSD and not the external.

The Division 2 update that landed last night installed under "Other" on the SSD.

There is a way of seeing this data. If you plug in another external drive and go to back the system up you can see what PS4 patches are installed on the SSD.

Tbh I'd just remove the external HDD. Too many reports of instability and crashes and rebuilds for my liking. There's clearly an issue there which remains unfixed. I've never had mine crash yet. No external.

Interesting about the external storage. Wonder whether the situation differs if you are using a USB-powered HDD/SSD or a HDD with its own power supply.

I just had a nice surprise, my PS5 was delivered! I had no idea it was coming as I didn't receive any emails about it being dispatched, and the last time I checked it still said the 18th! :D

Yeah I'm starting to wonder that. Could be a power draw issue.

Even if you do some tests by copying Division 2 to the SSD, remove the external and do some game swapping between MM and D2 to see if you are getting any more errors. Personally I am staying away from externals for the time being at least.

I've had it happen 1 other time when I was just playing AC: Valhalla. I'm copying over the PS4 games I want to play over to the SSD at the minute, then i'll unplug the external for a bit.

There's a new Firmware out today too.

I'm 20 or so hours into Valhalla and I've not had any system issues. Loads of game bugs though but I can't blame the PS5 for that.
