The main SGS II thread is getting a little chaotic now, so thought i'd break it up a little and start one dedicated to the many accessories already released (with more coming) for the phone, so that we can share info on and review:

  • Cases
  • Screen protectors
  • Adapters
  • Extended Batteries
  • etc etc

Feel free to copy and paste any previous reviews that oyu already made in here, and to those who havn't yet please share feedback on those you have just recieved or have on order. Cheers! :)

An earlier post of mine -

I got the official Samsung case from P4U and a Case Mate Barely There one (for £12 from CPW) in black.

They're both pretty much the same but I think the Samsung one is a more grippy texture and the case mate one covers the edges a little bit better.

CPW had the Case Mate Tough Case for £15 which looked good but it has covers over the power and volume buttons which in my experience from the Gelli case can make the buttons tough to press and is quite irritating.

They're both good, either would do

Following on from that, I really like both cases but would probably go for the official Samsung one over the Casemate one, especially as its a bit cheaper.

No doubt Khaaan! will be along with pictures and what have you shortly :p

Do you? Pretty sure in the box is male micro-usb to male usb, what he has ordered has a female usb, so that usb things can be plugged in to your phone.

Not sure if that particular one would work though, I got the USB OTG cable that Khaaaan linked to a while ago.

I have the S-Line silicone case, is ok, good grip, but adds a fair bit of bulk, covers the power and volume buttons, and is a blooming dust magnet!

Now have a Nillkin case that seems similar to the official Samsung one. I like it, but wish there was more protection at the top and bottom of the phone.

I have a Skinomi screen protector on the way.
 
I want a USB->Serial cable and terminal emulator with remote connection capability like the iPad/iPhone has. *waits patiently*
 
Is the Samsung official Black Mesh case the one that is priced at 14.95 in P4U and scans at till for £9.95?

Bought a phone today so need a case and screen protector, so am keeping an eye on this thread, rather than trawling pages of posts in the other one! Anyone know of any S2 specific cases that would be like the Black Bumper case for iPhone 4's?

Please post any info anout official car holder here. i have only found one place displaying it on their website so far but they have no stock. desperate to get one asap

I'll be receiving the official car holder in a few days for review so stay tuned but I doubt it will beat my DIY car holder mod, nothing i have used since has beaten it and it costs ~£fiver.
