Just had a play with getting Stock SMS back into my ROM. It all works fine but annoyed that Samsung haven't made their notification LED compatible with other messaging apps.

Use lightflow lite. Works great for this

Rooting is simple and is worth it for Adfree/TB Backups.

Little chance of bricking.

Bluetooth Audio isn't working for me at the moment but its stable enough for day to day use.
