*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

Hmmm, just ordered a 64gb in black now I'm seeing that that Samsung are supplying two different camera sensors ond one isn't as good as the other and of course the reviewers got the better Sony sensor equipped model.

Not sure what to do, is there anyway to tell which camera sensor is fitted on the box?

I read that both very similar, the Samsung sensor has better low light images

Caved in and bought a black 32gb s6 from .de

Cost £486 delivered. More money than I wanted to spend, but hey ho, I've had my s4 for quite a while now so I'm due an upgrade.

Just hope there are no issues buying from Germany...

Only thing that worried me was there is no mention of what version of phone it is and whether it is sim free.

Phone is sold and delivered by Am.de though.

Any idea when I should get it and what courier will be used?

So since my last post I decided to give the phone a bit longer, but I ended up rooting and I'm getting a much better experience now, especially battery life which seems a lot better.

Running Wanamlite Rom & Ktoonsez kernel:

Looks pretty good - what version rom and what network?

3 network.

ROM: LRX22G.G920FXXU1AODG

Phone was from Vodafone but unlocked still on the stock rom

Details if it helps others

All sync on, using lux to set brightness at 20% ( more than enough for me), photos set to backup when plugged in only, so over night

I don't have Facebook app or messenger app, using urban theme from Samsung store (free)

What's app and browsing all day long. Mixture of wifi and 3G/4G also Bluetooth in car.

It's a new phone so naturally using it more, turning off and on more

Tbh 5.5hrs on this battery size is pretty impressive , why oh why did they not put a 3000mah in the s6, maybe would have been the perfect phone?

I use a s5 for work and I can't stand it. The s6 However is in a different league imo

After second charge, stock

Look's like the phone was constantly in use, it's good but without knowing exactly what you doing it's hard these too seriously.

After a normal work day, using data, radio, music, internet and some light gaming I'm constantly finishing at around 4h SOT.

Okay, that makes perfect sense, 20% brightness is probably the key there.
