*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

I think the galaxy series has become very stale and I currently will not consider an s6 unless there are some dramatic improvements in the design and software. Touchwiz is horrible and there is way too much bloatware. Cut out the gimmicks and concentrate on design.

The s5 was a tacky, ugly and gimmicky piece of tat in my opinion. Sales have been poor compared to s3/4.

I will be keeping my s4 for a while longer. Keeping an eye on the m9 though.

But people wont buy it if its not equipped with the latest and greatest Snapdragon processor. Hope it doesnt look like a plaster this time :cool:
 
If the s5 was anything to go by, the s6 will just be an s5 with more bloat, gimmicks and stick on tat. There's a good reason why 40% of s5's manufactured are sat unsold in warehouses. No thanks Samsung.
 
S6 looking real good so far,only concern is the mali gpu,if it's going to be using the same t760 as the note 4 it would be disappointing.

Any news/rumors for the t860 that was announced last year having a chance of making into the s6?

I have to say, after finding my S2 to be absolutely brilliant, my S4 has been a bit 'meh', solid featureset but not outstanding and much more niggly problems (now the bottom of the screen flickers and none of the supposed fixes i've found fix it).

Since trying a Moto G with near enough plain Android on it, i'm finding myself looking away from Samsung for the first time in years and not much of what i'm seeing of the S6 is making me think I need to have one on release, unlike the S4 which I got during the release week :/
