I'm surprised some people see the non-removable battery as such a big problem. Yes, they decline, but it's hardly as if they're bad after 2 years, just a bit worse.
As for other things, power banks are small, effective, and cheap.
In the case of the iPhone, Apple will replace a battery for £50~, maybe Samsung will offer the same service?
