Yeah I looked at that one but a lot of the comments seemed to say it was pretty flawed. Hope they get it working properly because it's a must have feature.

My new media player this.

I decided to look for a new player last night, WMP 12 was p155ing me off, tried foobar, was a faf, was gonna try iTunes then came across this .

Much better!, did not fancy winamp as it's ugly this is brill tho.

Any MSN messenger now playing plug in?

Gonna give this another go when it matures a bit. Still on the look-out for a media player that can:

1. play both FLAC and Apple Lossless (without weird bugs)
2. output via ASIO
3. sync with my iPhone
4. auto-scan folders for new content
5. look pretty
6. make 'now playing' playlists
7. display cover art nicely

Songbird fails 2, 3 and 6.
iTunes fails 1, 2 and 4.
WMP fails 1, 2, 3 and 7.
MediaMonkey fails 1, 5 and 7.
foobar fails 3, 5 and 7.
Winamp fails 3 and 7.

Winamp fails 3 and 7.

How do you want album art to be displayed? Winamp can display it both in the main window and in the toast notifications. Its a pain to get Winamp to do album art so I bring in Media Monkey to download album art for each album, takes a while but it works. Then back to Winamp to play.

But I'm a sucker for pretty graphics, and I don't think it can do a cover flow-type thing like iTunes and Songbird can.

Songbird can have a now playing playlist, there is an Add-On for it, I found it yesterday, never bothered with it though as I dont need it.

Hmm don't think it can. Bit harsh to count Winamp out of the running for this.
