The first launch from UK territory and they don't even have any footage of it.
They have made it even more uneventful now. Grabbing some views, headline news and not delivering on something to watch at leastMakes you appreciate how good SpaceX’s coverage is but also how routine and uneventful satellite launches have become.
Edit: Also, is their GUI created on the Amiga?
I seem to remember some thing about the rotation of the earth aiding in rocket launches, so potentially we are too far from the equator for the large rocket launches. (I could be mixing it up with something else). We could probably pull off the small scale launches. I believe there is a company in New Zealand that is doing that.Thought it was going to be an actual rocket launch, not a piggy back launch from a plane.
Guess my expectations of a space port were beyond what Cornwall could achieve.
Falcon heavy on the 12thOh well.
SpaceX Starship should hopefully launch in March, something to look forward to.
The Telemetry was terrible.
3.5ly, not bad going that.
Just flew overhead, don't see many planes that size over Cornwall.
