Pulse Rifle need to be level 5 and can then equip it on either L1 or R1 card.
Although it is a weapon it is not classed as a weapon but comes under the card section.

Still loving this. I've never been able to play COD or Battlefield for more than an hour, but played this today and 3 hours whizzed by. I like the fact that I'm actually decent at it, unlike COD, where I am just pure cannon fodder.
It's definitely more for the casual FPS player than the die hards, but that's good. We can't all be young, super reactioned machines and it's nice to put people on more of a level playing field.
Will definitely be getting the season pass for new maps. I still havenlt even played hero mode or a few others. Having a blast on, well, blast

I've got that, but I don't half find it tricky to shoot someone with it.
Also, to iv-tecman, it's a card, so you cant rattle off shots. It's a one shot wonder, then you have to wait for the card to recharge.
I get most of my kills with the auto aim missile thing. I cannot hit anything with the guns or if I do they just seem to bounce off. Even my new gun which has a high damage rating seems to fire Nerf pellets.
The game is starting to loose the OMG it's Star Wars factor for me and is getting a bit repetitive it really is pretty shallow. It's a good pick up and play for an hour or two sort of game which sometimes is what I want.
It should keep me entertained until Just Cause comes along.

Well, thats pretty disappointing then that the sniper is one shot..
And how is the leveling working? I mean I'm pretty good with fighter squadron, but now i'm level 6 which I got from pretty much fighter squadron does that mean I get clumped into level 6 when playing ground attack?
I have no idea how the match making works, it feels like I hold my own in the sky, but on the ground I'm ultra terrible...
I literally shot someone in the back many times, he turns round, i'm dead.. I don't get it at all... ok, so he was better then me? fair enough, but one shot? Give me at least a chance to play, i'm all but done with the title to be fair. £40 well spent then..
and it is super shallow. Can see why it didn't review very well. But maybe as I suck at the game and I'm not enjoying the modes other then fighter squadron then maybe this is why I think this way?

If the game has no depth to it then it has no longevity, it's very good and all to be able to casually jump in for a quick match, I'm all for that, it's what I do with Rocket League but I think with FPS should have more layers to it, especially for £40.

All games will feel rubbish when you're not very good at them. Keep working at it. It's fun when you start getting results.
Ooh I didn't want to post this, but sadly yep I also find them bloody tough.. I can just barely hsng on to wave 10 but never got to wave 15...
The hoth training missions are also tediously hard. The tow cable on the walkers is so hit n miss... I dunno, this game, if this is a dumbed down fps then it's obviously clear as to why I don't play them often... Well done dice. You created a simple fps that isnt very friendly for new comers to fps.. This game will die off quickly. ??
Oh wkw that does help. You can see much more. Managed to get 6 kills on a Walker assault. Which is 6 better then I normally get lol

Dunno, but peak 24 user stats from battle log show x1 110k players, ps4 190k players so psn could be taking a hammering. ?? I'm rubbish so I think that's the reason its hard for me lol
Go to customer services ask to exchange £20 of nectar points for a £40 entertainment voucher, get game, pay £1.99, ends soon though
Was watching some guy on Twitch who got 45 kills and 8 deaths in a round using a pistol and grenades. To be fair he was on comms in a group but he was pretty much owning everything with that gun.
Think I will pick this up today with my Tesco vouchers.

It seems I've ended up with this game for free.
I originally used the Tesco vouchers double up event to pre-order this and Battleborn, with the news that direct orders where facing 5-7 days delivery backlog I cancelled and pre-ordered with Amazon.
Turns out Tesco have still sent one out. Contacted customer service as I wanted to return it and get the points instead, and it turned out they have no delivery for my name or address, and having checked my account, no points or payment have been taken either.
The lass on the phone said she can't really do anything, she advised me that I can send it back but without a RMA it might just get put to one side and never sold and will cost me the return p+p, on that note she said open it and play it.

i am enjoying it, i mean its no cod4 but if your a star wars fan its very fun.
Its also very frustrating, as others, shooting somebody in the face until your gun is to hot for them to shoot you once and your dead.
I played last night for a few hours and did not get bored at all, and the sounds in the game really help. Although it is hard to level up.
