preload wasnt as big as I was expecting...so I assume that means another 40gig to download on actual release, so final patches and stuff

Your getting confused between download size which is highly compressed and size on your drive once installed is all.

doesnt really make that much difference to me..I got a 4 TB nvme for my steam directory so got ample space for when they get round to modding it

Finally got my AMD Premium key applied to my steam account.

Will download it tomorrow morning and start playing tomorrow night and most of the weekend

My special edition arrived from game

Bad news is they are using the game's official brown carton only to ship. Thus mine had taken some impact damage writing off the corner & side of the outer card display box.

They are also unsealing the sealed carton to insert the dispatch note rather than put into a new shipping box.

So if you are buying as a collector who wants sealed or undamaged packaging, this isn't the route for you
