The Official Thor: The Dark World

Can't wait to enjoy another few hours of awesome Thor action interspersed with a few dozen flow breaking scenes involving Natalie Portman doing nothing relevant to the plot.

I really enjoyed Thor, however their choice to give Thor a "love interest" (which was horrible executed) and the choice to make that Natalie Portman still annoys and confuses me..

Not sure she'll survive the whole film if that trailer is anything to go by, though it could just be clever editing.

Indeed. More Loki, less Natalie Portman, please.

I don't understand why Thor would want a human lover anyway - surely he would just "break her" if/when they get it on?

I like Natalie Portman. But her character is weak, and she's poorly suited to this role.

I hope they kill her off in this movie.

What is it with recent films and London getting destroyed?

Ask anyone in the world to list the global major cities and London will be in the top 3 or 4. It's not as though destroying somewhere like Dumfries or Carlisle in big movies will be easily recognisable lol.

One of my most anticipated movies this year, really looking forward to this. Hopefully it will be as good as the first one. Like a few people have mentioned, not really liking the love interest bit of the movie for Thor myself.

Love the end part of that trailer posted earlier...anyone else??:D:D

Very impressed by. The feel of the trailer. Should help Thor stand out a bit more now that they don't have separate films for Iron Man. I suppose the lack of Iron Man film means the Hulk is looking more likely for another film. Maybe team him up with Hawkeye if the film with him and Widow doesn't happen.

Just back from a screening tonight in 3D...while yes that added nothing to it...I actually quite enjoyed it. Loki on top form as always and definitely provided much of the comic relief in between the decent action scenes. Wasn't a huge fan of Thor 1 but definitely enjoyed this a lot more.

Two post credit scenes however for anyone who's interested as we left after the first one...

7/10 :)

Saw it tonight in 3D at the BFI Imax at Waterloo. Started stong but finished as a bit of a mess. 6/10 from me.

Just got back from seeing it, very entertaining for me. Great addition to the Marvel collection.

As said, 2 scenes in the credits. One mid way through, one right at the end.
