I'm glad, I ended up on a beta build of 11.1 somehow and it was pretty poor.

I often get whatapp messages that vibrate my wrist and I look at the message and think I will deal with that later, but when I pick up my phone theres no notification there because my phone wasn't unlocked at the time. So I forget completely about the message. I have notifications set to mirror my phone but I want the notification to appear and stay on my phone as well. Is that possible?
As a relative newcomer to the full Apple ecosystem (Mac Mini/iPhone/Watch), where should I start with no longer getting unlock notifications on my watch? Worked great up until a few weeks back, but now MacOS suggests I can unlock on my watch but there is nothing triggered on it.
Try disabling it, then enabling it again. Also, are all devices up to date?
Disabling what? This is the part I think I am/was missing.
I wasn't on 11.5 on the watch, have just installed it and it is now working. Am thinking it just as likely the restart resolved the issue rather than the update itself, but sorted now thanks!
There's an option to allow unlock with Apple Watch in macOS. It glitches out sometimes, usually disabling/re-enabling or a restart fixes it. I've not had to fix it for quite some time. Glad you've sorted it.
