Could the iPhone thread be reopened for those who have absolutely no interest in watching a text based commentary of what appears to be a typically boring developer conference?
 
what is that twitlive all about?

Leo Laporte (former host of techtv in the US) who has a large podcast network called TWiT is streaming 25 hours a week live on Stickam. The coverage includes recording of all of his podcasts, radio show as well as live callers and other segments. It is live from about 6pm-2am our time but varies depending on the schedule.

His feed has only had a maximum of 5000 viewers before so this coverage is pushing the limits, it is running on a dedicated T1 to Stickam so any problems are with Stickam's ability to supply the bandwidth. He has just dropped the quality to try and speed up the stream which seems to have worked.

All that has done is maxxed the mySQL database :p
 
Leo Laporte is an absolute legend, I recommend anyone who doesn't listen to his podcasts to do so, they're fantastic!

Anyway, back on topic, booooring :p
