No camera upgrade and probably forced contracts mean a probable no from me .
I would much prefer a decent camera over GPS on this, no doubt the proprietary pricey software apple make will make it a royal pita anyway.

well I am furious on the camera front but you cant argue that price or gps. I actually felt the rear look of the iphone was bang on but what you gonna do.

I guess its a fight to get on the apple.com site to view it properly now.

Apple have listened to peoples complaints, so they know what the unlocking issue has caused to them. If they sell this at £199 with no forced contract, then they will be loosing a lot of money fast. They aren't stupid, i really hope they are, but i doubt it.

Upping it to 5MP (Camera) would mean jack if they used the same optics, therefore if they did that they'd have to make it larger.. which they don't want.

Expect it next time.. that's what Apple does.. or you'd have no reason to get the next one

It will be the same price over here. £199 would be my bet.

Look how many sold when the price was dropped to £169 for the 8G.

That'll make the 8gb one ~£120-£130, and the 16gb one ~£180-£190 in this country methinks, it was said that the maximum price around the world is $199, thats ~£118 here inc tax, but we know a little extra is added for us in the UK
