*** The Official WWDC 2021 thread - Keynote 7th June at 18:00 BST ***

I don't know if the widgets on iPhone home screen really took off but I remember being very disappointed that it wasn't implemented for iPad. But with iOS 15, it should be so looking forward to trying that out. But most of all, I'm hoping they reveal an M1X or M2 chip as I'm waiting for the second gen silicon before I purchase a new device.

I'm just looking forward to what IOS15 will bring to the table, especially for my 12.9" iPad Pro. Most likely going to sell my Series 4 Watch as I just know the battery will start to diminish around now in terms of capacity and I'd like to wear my other watches more often lol.

So I'll be watching WWDC on the iPad Pro whilst I zoom around Hong Kong in Sleeping Dags :)

Watching anything live on YouTube means you have a chance to read some of the absolute dross comments. Depending on ones mood, it might prove funny.

Scene:

Jonny Ive sitting in his swanky new design studio

New macbook pro gets revealed absolutely packed with ports

Jonny recoils in disgust

"That new MacBook is a disgrace!" he angrily clacks into his keyboard in the YouTube comments section, only to be drowned out a fraction of a second later by 1000 more comments of industry professionals rejoicing

I'm honestly not that fussed about the extra ports, although I'm likely in a minority. I love how I've got four identical ports that can do power, data and display although getting all the cables required was an expense I didn't need. Done now though.

I wish I could code. I've dabbled here and there but nothing has ever held my interest long enough to keep it up. I've always fancied designing my own software for Mac or iOS.
