the old PC vs MAC - still valid?

Can you explain what it is your consultants actually do? I'm finding it hard to visualise what IT policies etc you might have that are relevant. How many machines does the IT department manage?
 
Sure, that's not a problem.

Our consultants work mainly in the field with their clients. They do things like coaching sessions, workshops, facilitation of meetings, interviews, etc.

In terms of policies, we don't have a lot of those. Mainly use GPs for managing drive mappings, application deployement, IE customisations, etc.

We manage an estate of 280 machines WW.
