I seem to remember being able to make fire as a small child, using nothing more complicated than a magnifying glass and some newspaper!

Ermmmm... That ceremony was pretty weird...

In other news, no I'm not in the 'olympic spirit', I think the ticketing system was stupid, and I'm even more glad than usual that I don't live in London.

I might switch on the TV occasionally to check that China is asskicking all the other countries.

Had it on in my classroom in the background this morning.

Saw all the guys in suits waffling on, then the people dressed as ancient Greeks and that little boy with the olive branch as they arsed around... Bell went, I was on break duty, came back in 10 mins later and had missed the flame being lit :mad:
