The Olympic Games 2012

Surely not only I am thinking that everything in circulation regarding the 2012 London games is completely ****.

The planning, progress and organisation has been so slack, The logo is terrible and just today I read that they have had to pull the promotional presentation video from the official site amid reports that the lighting effects could cause fits!

From the bbc site:

A segment of animated footage promoting the 2012 Olympics has been removed from the organisers' website after fears it could trigger epileptic seizures.

It's a Joke, we're the wealthiest country in Europe who's always trying to host a major sporting event, finally, we get the 'big one' & we approach it like were a 3rd world country!

I think the mentallity was to win the Olympics at any cost. Now they are realising whats involved they maybe regretting it. The transportation infrastructure needs to be improved massively. Im not seeing a lot of benefits for the country as whole by hosting these games other than the Kudos.

A bunch of upper class 'tim nice but dim' public schoolboys without a clue attempting to run an event for a load of minority sports. How can anyone 'forget' VAT, FFS Incompetence at its very best.

All that these clowns will do is make us into more of a laughing stock than we already are !

Total waste of time and money

I have no interest whatsoever in the Olympics anymore. I will only tune in to Beijing to watch Karolina Kluft win the Heptathlon.
