We have it in our country once in a lifetime, for two weeks. I think it's done wonders to national morale (well most of it anyway). Everyone I know is constantly on about it, also in high spirits due to how well we've (relatively) been doing.
I've nothing but praise for the Olympics and I reckon it's a good time to be British. Other people will not share this view however, fair enough I suppose.
