The whole Olympic / McDonalds partnership makes no sense to me. Surely there are far better partnerships to be formed?

Quick Fact -
So I've just found out that McDonalds plans to open the world's largest McDonalds restaurant in Newham, London.

It makes sense if you consider that the olympics is a massive white elephant that we cannot afford unless we put our morals, principles and the whole lot up for sale to massive corporations. The policing of what brands can be seen and the policing of using the world olympics is rather sinister, and the entire event is provided by the corporatocracy (not corporatism)

At a time when there is a rise in the number of obese people in this country.... Really nice.

McDonalds, like other big companies hand out money for 'up and coming' education and sporting scheme. They have their 'kick starter' fund which provides equipment for small school and clubs.

Yes but no. Yes anyone could have their name up, but no, tobacco is specifically illegal.

Well no, becuase its illegal, but not very long ago Marlboro did indeed have their name splashed all over entire Sports..

Just wonder why fast food companies should be allowed to sponsor such events... Gives off a confusing message.

I think it was the other way around, Bernie wanted the tobacco companies because they were keeping the money rolling and Williams afloat.

McDonalds doesn't make people fat. They simply sell a product that some people seem unable to eat in moderation.
