What are you using ( software ) ?

You are over optimising your images.

Let me know the software and i will try and give you some pointers

it's paintshop pro 9.

i just open the image, choose "resize" then 75% and click ok. and the results are all grainy.

i havn't changed any settings or anything.

I don't use Paintshop ( very good as it is ).

When you come to save there must be quality/file size setting ?

The sig you posted before was around 7kb ( pixelated ) the sigs i post are just below 20kb ( forum limit ).

Have a look for this.
