Trumped by the Windows thread on desktop styles etc. has grown to well over 100 pages before frequent prunings. As to the Gaia one, woah spamfest 2k5, threads grown since you posted the link, must get hard to keep up, glad of the prunings on ocuk.

Correct.

For the original poster, you get your first avator once you've posted 100 items (assuming they're not considered spam by the moderators and you have your post count doctor'ed... ). And then you get new avators for 500 and 1000, where you can then choose which avator you get. All explained in the FAQs...
