Just to add to this, following the time line, wasn't it that the "attack by antifa on Elons son" was the exact same day that twitter added a policy stopping elonjet, and it was this event that Elon used to justify the new twitter policy?
A policy that would have been impossible to enact so quickly surely.

Given the main difference between that picture and some of Trump's supporters is the lack of a red hat, the lack of visible weapons, and that they're not riding around in the back of a pick up truck shooting paint balls at random people...
I must be really old school anti-fa, i've had black hoodies and coats in my wardrobe for nearly 20 years*, and some of those "hoodies" look more like the cheap anoraks you can fold up and put in your pocket when you're going somewhere that it might rain.
Not to mention that black is a really, really popular colour for a lot of clothing, seriously have a look at any retailer, they'll almost always have a black/navy for most styles, and often have 3 dark to black colours out of 4 or 5 available and in more sizes (black/navy is a colour that's popular with a vast range of people because for work wear where you might have to supply your own it doesn't show a lot of common stains as much across a shift and can be easier to clean than say a nice light colour).
*I don't even like black much, but it's often the only choice in my size.

I'm not aware that they have some centralised membership list... maybe if caught he'll turn out to be affiliated with some antifa LA org, maybe he'll turn out to be affiliated with the people front of LA anarchist org etc..

His plate looks exactly like that one in the example it also has the month and year of registration expiry. Temp plates don't have that because they are not registered yet.See below link for what regular plates look like in California, those ones aren't like these + have some car dealer info on.

Dealer info is just on the plate holder my car has that.
Not to say that the plate is legit but I don't think it's a temp one, also temp ones are as easily tracked as real ones. When I got pulled over with Temp ones for speeding they tracked my details down pretty fast
