YupElon apparently spent 3 hours in an MRI machine.
Not only could he definitely not sit still for three hours with Tweeting, unless MRI machines are different for rich people I've never had nor seen an MRI take longer than an hour in my life.
My dad's had a few MRI's recently, IIRC a blood dye and a glucose one.
The blood dye one he was in it for about 10 minutes*, maybe a bit longer for a full torso scan, the glucose dye one he wasn't in for more than an hour and I suspect a lot less given he was out of the unit in about 90 minutes and IIRC they did it twice.
*Talking to one of the techs it was one of the newest models, sufficiently new it was in temporary building just outside the A&E as they'd not got space in the hospital yet**, and could get a snapshot of the heart between beats.
**I'm not sure if it'll end up in the new building they're putting up on the other side of the site, or they'll be moving something else to make room for it.
