Funny how the jokes seem to go in one particular direction - in line with group think. I wonder if this guy made jokes about the Covid vaccine; I expect not.

I haven't seen any legitimate talk from the main stream about how revolutionary and life changing this tech could be and how good the work they're doing is. It's all been trying to farm views and clicks from morons by putting the words "Elon Musk" and "Brain Chip" together in a headline. Like I said, what an absolute state.

The funniest thing with people getting excited over neurolink is that at the moment it's years behind some of the other companies that haven't killed god only knows how many monkeys due to rushing and just get on with the work quietly.

This is the first Mr Beast video I've seen, it's sort of like a compressed, old Top Gear episode with mostly just the crashes/explosions and was quite entertaining. I do wonder though if this is the result of trying to woo some more big names onto Twitter X.com, maybe some additional ad revenue was promised or something? It wasn't just this video but he did a cash giveaway too for people to follow and retweet one of his tweets.

His content is horrible, it basically consists of literring the planet with trash, while he smiles like a creep

I think some of his undertakings are very impressive his achievements in the space industry in such a short space of time for one and the way Tesla exploited a market opportunity while the big players snoozed equally so. However normally when he over hype's something it turns out to be a disappointment hello cyber truck, self drive, twitter since the takeover in general! So don’t expect me to do the conga when he puts some half baked cryptic announcement about stuff on his twitter feed!

Didn't the right have issues with a literal vaccine for a disease spreading across the entire planet just what 2/3 years ago? Thst made them magnetic? The absolute state of your selective memory, to pick on a joke, and forget the actual behaviour of those on the right. These neurolinks are quick to erase memories it seems.

good memory you have there. perhaps you've not paying attention to the thread you've lost interest in? or it is not true, you really do still have lots of interest in this thread and do read everything, but then moan that people aren't being nice to elon, while there's plenty examples of many nice things said about elon/a company he owns/runs? does the neuro chip allow you to see these posts because we can show you the many examples if you like to feel better that there are positive comments made too?

I don't think that was any particular political pursuasion though. Some people had issues with the vaccine, some didn't. Saying every QAnon conspiracy is broadly reflective of right leaning Conservatives in both the US and UK simply isn't accurate.

This is almost exclusively a thread for pseudointellectuals to bash Elon Musk. Why is it "we" can show you, who is this we? Do you need to evoke the plethora of speakers corners regulars to post for you? I wonder if you have a group chat with each other? Maybe the Mods you PM are involved too?

Why is it anyone who doesn't worship daddy Elon or makes fun of him/his companies is automatically a leftist? There are plenty out on the right who have plenty to say on this.

Lots of companies are trying to do the exact same thing. I think many doubt Elon's hype due to him being the king of over hype and the problems that have been reported with Neuralink in the past.

I don't think anyone would not want people with serious disabilities to be helped by such tech.. well maybe the MAGA/anti vax type crowd who think its all just a way to control us As someone who had a disabled father from when he was 49 and know too many others left disabled from motorbike accidents, I would welcome anything that could give them some quality of life improvement.

That is just blatantly untrue. The anti vax crowd is dominated by the right, it was before covid and its got even worse since. Yes some left hippy types are against vaccines but not because they believe the pharmaceutical companies are trying to control us/make us sterile. All the anti vaccine and "Plandemic" propaganda was coming from the right and it did such a good of spreading disinformation that it put enough doubt in more rational people's minds that they started to believe it.

I got every vaccine, I voted Leave and for the Tories. Most actual Conservatives are older people and they definitely got the vaccine. I didn't say all did I. There was no good reason back when the vaccines rolled out not to take it. And as vaccines go its pretty damned safe, 13.35b doses administered and serious side effects are thankfully fairly rare.

It lowers the risk of serious illness. What they thought it would do or could do when it was being tested on an early strain of covid and what it did/does later on mutated strains aren't going to be the same.

FWIW and its off topic but I know plenty of oldies who didn't get the vaccine, was probably 40-50% at my C&UP club
Also FWIW quite a lot were pro Brexit (bring back the good old days), think Boris was a great PM (because he made them laugh and seemed to pander to some of their prejudices)

Getting the jab DID lower the risk of COVID transmission indirectly. It lowered the timespan COVID would be active for (by increasing the bodies ability to fight it) and hence also lowered the likelyhood of a genetic deviation appearing.
People forget there was a bloke kept on life support for many months who was very heavily infected by COVID, his body basically couldn't fight it and they found numerous variants (due to deviation) before he sadly passed.

Anyway back on topic, I jokingly posted a while back that maybe Elon had had the chip implanted and that could explain why his behaviour seemed to take a sudden negative turn some time ago. Its still a possibility.

Have you been living under a rock? The people that support Trump do not have any coherent viewpoint or thought. These are the same people who will largely be huge followers of Christianity, yet support someone who is the complete antithesis of many of the teachings of Christ etc.

They are confused imbeciles who even failed to understand the extremely basic physics/concept behind why wearing a mask is beneficial stop the spread of respiratory infections.
