I think i'd wait it out.
Only had 1 go on me and it wasn't 3RLOD either![]()
Despite adequate cooling, I've been unfortunate enough
to now be on my 4th Console.
So now I have 2, and my plan has worked so far.
when one is bust (too often) I get the spare one out (in warrenty) while
the other gets fixed.
Obviously I shouldnt have to do this but I was wondering If anyone
else had taken such drastic measures or am I completely mad? lol.
while I am here: Has anyone with the new falcon machines suffered any problems so far or,
has the terrible failure rate finaly been resolved?

It's a mute point though because as I keep saying their won't be a follow up console.
So they charge for downloadable upgrades.
