The ORIGINAL Unreal Tornament

I used to be in a little known clan called [EGC], (they went on to the BF series and a bit of CoD I think), then me and a couple of others broke away to form an Insta section, [EGC-i] (They're still going today).

I vaguely remember TR as well, also a clan called {TB} The Barbarians with a couple of Canadians.

help me fill in whats missing

1) Install UT
2) update to 436
3) install bonus packs
4) Install 2nd CD
5) download the opengel renderer, unzip into UT directory?
 
I was in a clan called [SC] or something like that, lead by a guy called maximus and played mostly on wireplay

ha ha.. [SC] Slightly Chilli, they were the B team of [CIA] (Chilled in Action). I remember Maxiumus, he was a nice guy, Neoblade used to run CIA.

I remember [TR] Redeemers as well, do you still speak to army?

ahhh the good old days, shame that clans arent no where near as populer nowdays, back then we had Wireplay, Jolt, Gamesinferno, Barrysworld, MPZ, now we just have.............errr cant think of any!
 
I used to love all the custom stuff you could get from UT communities. I found myself revisiting the game long after I'd thought I'd stopped playing discovering BunnyTracks and MonsterHunt - the sheer number of user created maps was incredible!
 
If you're using the newest OpenGL renderer make sure you have all the added extra settings put into your .ini If you need them give me a shout.

By the way, there is a Multiplay CTF server that's always empty if you guys want to play. I find it a big laggy but not sure if it's my con or not, I ping ok to the .de servers though.
 
Do you def need to disable speedstep? As I run with that on and find it completely stable for my overclock and no problems with other games.



dont think so, maybe if u have an AMD chip though

the guys over on Beyond Unreal have been a great help, unfortuantly i still cant get the extra textures working :(
