I built my own PC with much success but still don't know if Brand or Cost is better, What would your perfect system be for gaming(limitless funds)?

Building PC's is like getting Tattoo's I just want more and more!!!!

Perfect what what purpose though? If funds where limitless you could get something mentally quick but you'd always be held back by software when gaming on such systems.

Example being the xeon SR2 bundle on ocuk where you have 2 cpus, 6 cores each with hyper threading, so 24 threads in total, yet most programs don't even use 4+ lol.

See I was thinking of all the parts and power for the likes of MW3 and other games but none of them need or use the massive amounts of power that I'm looking at.

I have an overclocked (4.2) I3 with an SSD drive and 6gb or ram(let down on the windows score!) and my graphics card is a 5750 so it can handle anything but I just want MORE POWER and to start with a new rebuild.

Should I just go for a 3D monitor and that NVidia rubbish?

without being silly with a dual socket SR2 because as James says, its OTT gaming etc.

Id want a Top end high clockable CPU, such as a 990X
12gig of DDr3 is more than enough
Top end mobo (Asus or gigabyte personally)
2 sata3 SSDs in raid
2 2tb HDDs
2 GTX580 lightenings (3gig edition)
3 30" screens (dell ones seeing as this is limitless funds)
badass PSU
Case of your liking (TJ07 is one i love, and own)

keyboard/Mouse of your preference.

Massive desk to accomodate it all.

Watercooling if you dont mind the hastle.

Windows 7

Nice hifi setup

boogie bug XL gaming mat. (essential)

Headset/mic

joystick if you need it.

good chair.

kettle

minifridge

water source (For filling kettle)

indirect lighting behind the screens for night gaming.

ridiculous 100mb up/down internet connection.

Have i missed anything?

Whats so ridiculous about that connection? Would prefer 1Gbs or more tbh.

Being a tad more realistic. Sure i mean limitless funds i guess? which includes installing your own fibre lines. not to mention making your own ISP, hosting all the games you want to play in your own data centre. housed in the massive umbrella like facility under your house...

Who needs mates with that PC?

I think by hosting my own games (other than FM and CM0102) is going a tad too far.

The massive desk thing was what I missed on my first post, my bad, sorry.

Is it Brand or Price in the PC world?
