I think you're being too harsh on yourself. There are some nice shots within your Flickr account and that shot above is beautiful. I could see that on the front cover of a Holiday Brochure.

Thanks very much

Thank You very much, I was just looking back through this thread, and thinking, god, mine are no where near as good as this, but then i remember these shots, and hoped they'd be alright to post :p

Where is that?

Its Navigo Bay, Zante, Greece

It's an old smugglers vessel that was grounded during heavy storms (either that, or as rumoured by the locals, put there by the Greek Ministry of Tourism!)

Right! Time to make use of this thread! Instead of making a new thread for them, heres my first couple of attempts at capturing water droplets.

Settings:

Focus: Manual
ISO: 200
Aperture: F/5.6
Shutter: 1/125 - (maybe go a little faster next time)
Flash: Rear Sync

(I know these might be a little off, but any suggestions welcome please!)

Right! The results! I know they're not brilliant, but all comments and improvements welcome! (BTW: I used a coloured glass to try and make it a bit more exciting!)

Get rid of that red thing on the left hand side  far too distracting. as you said though a tighter crop so you just had just the table as a background would have been better......I'm sure famas has a post about water droplets but for the life of me I cant remember which one. I'll see if i can find it :D

I know, that celebrations tin does spoil it a bit doesn't it!

ah well! :p

Learn from my mistakes, its only my first try at water droplets, and thanks for trying to find that post as well :D
