Anyway, I think it must be your MBP as the 100% crop looks fine to me, although the duck isn't that contrasty, so maybe that's what's giving the illusion of softness...

Oh Lightroom, how you turn neutral RAW into something much better

Shot a wedding with a friend today, it was one of the best weddings to date purely because we raced golf karts with bride and groom

Got my D7000 on Tuesday and went to Colchester Zoo yesterday so this is one of my first serious shots with the new cam.
What pleased me the most was how it felt and how at ease I was using the D7000.

Nothing special, but I like it...

I did have quite a break from it, but got back into it around April time. I decided then, if I can maintain my enthusiasm I'd get myself a dSLR!

I like #1, it's got a faint HDR quality about it, but done well. Also colour and composition are excellent.
