Here is my very first photo that I have ever 'photoshopped' (well gimp'd actually). I have only had my DSLR for a few weeks so I have lots to learn, especially compared to some of the quality material in this thread.

Thanks, I did actually re-size her pic up against mine and it was quite scary how alike our features are as they lined up perfectly (poor girl she's doomed).

OK...let's get involved!

My little girl, Lily-Rose deep in thought.

The day after this was taken she came off a trike at nursery and landed on her face. 3 of her top teeth went into her bottom lip and she's cut and grazed her chin, lip, nose and forehead. She's been very brave though and is on the mend.

Neither shot is technically great. Although I've been into photography for just over 4 years I've only just got my first dSLR 12 days ago and I'm now starting to take things a little more seriously.
