I haven't really been out taking 'proper' photographs for a while now, but I took these with some friends last week.

Nice one Smed. My training has been slacking lately. I need a new training partner for that extra push I think

Because I've always trained with at least one other guy, usually more, I find it really difficult now to train on my own, especially if I'm going for something really heavy.

JESUS CHRIST that is a big deadlift!!! You wouldn't happen to know the exact weight he lifted would you? :p

235kg. The guy standing in the background on the left did 230kg without straps and then did 240kg straight after, but it was hitched. I've done an easy 200kg before, but haven't been training properly this past year. Hopefully that will change.

Blimey they are big lifts! I have only done 120kg max but I am a lightweight rower so it is all about power to weight for me rather then max strength :p

Anyway, back on topic, here are a few from today :)

The guy that did 240kg weighs 75kg. ;)

He also squatted 180kg and benched 135kg that same day, just before the 240kg deadlift.

love the shot just one question what filters did you use if any, because i'm trying for simiar shot myself and just looking at you i'm guessing you used ND and polarizor filters on your camera.

Just a polarizer and work in lightroom (ND)
