Ive taken lots of photo's of her and am struggling a bit i must admit, but these are my 'best' so far.

Glass table in the back garden with pine needles that had fallen from the Xmas tree. Setting sun at the front of the picture.

Love this one, how did you do it?
Not sure if you mean the whole thing or the colours so from start to finish;

Light tent with normal light from right and bulb very close on left.
Adjusted it considerably in lightroom
Exported a greyscale and colour version
Popped them into Paintshop, greyscale bottom layer and colour top layer.
Selected the buttons with a little feather, inverted selection deleting everything but the buttons, messed with the transparency until I liked it then saved.

Take photo. Desaturate in Photoshop or similar. Use History Brush Tool and brush over the area you want to be coloured :)
Basically it goes back one step on the area you brush! Looks nice on some photos :)

On the subject of dogs, here's a few old/older pics. The black labs are mine, the cute rat dog is my aunts. Female would be my girlfriend.

Yeah thats what i was after cheers. I've seen it done before and have been meaning to find out how to do it, I'll give that a go.
