ISO5000 and f/1.4 with 1/20 shutter - Hard conditions to focus with a bat that's fidgeting!

I saw the thumb on Gmail and thought "Must be 42zx" :D

Haha, you've got to make the most of that city lights bokeh when you live in the sticks most of the time!

Was out walking earlier and saw this guy ran straight past me though, I was just inside a trail at the edge of the woods so it didn't see me. Unfortunately I only had my 18-55mm on instead of my fast prime. It was a big fat one, not like those skinny city foxes :)

eh, I understand ;) Better than anything I could do :p

Hah it's all good! I spent a week+ sitting on that image as I wasn't sure I wanted to submit it as none of the processing styles I usually use worked well enough to my liking. In the end I tried something new. Seems to have gone down well on Flickr and 500px, went "Popular" within moments

Some more from the same trip:

This is a cool photo. I find it creative and useful. It's photos like this where it doesn't matter if it's technically good or not, the content trumps everything else. It's a useful photo and one certainly to share

Personally not a fan of the 2nd one though, it the rails not being straight is distracting and there's not really a useful subject to rest the eyes on.

One of the first shots with my new camera, not the kind of shot I'm used to taking but more for some practice in Lightroom. Comments would be welcome :)
