A few more products i've been having a play with tonight.

I don't really like the tilt in the paper clips and the iPhone, and the jenga pieces are upside down. I know they probably fell down that way but it doesn't work as a photo, cheating a little would help that and no one would realise :p

Same as the iphone too, that should be rotated and the scratches and fingerprints removed. The product should be as perfect as can be.

Thanks. Was actually just testing the lighting and couldnt be arsed going into great detail... yet :)

May have a play tomorrow when I can be arsed :)

A few taken today trying to look for some inspiration for the comp:

This was at ISO1600!!! Always check your settings before shooting! Dho!

I personally think sometimes the higher ISO can give some lovely noise straight out of camera when shooting in black and white. I don't know... kinda adds a feel to it.

Nice! You're not wrong, the little 50 is fast becoming my favourite lens as well, not that I am any good with it but it makes me feel like I have to try! (if that makes sense?)

I wish I had done someting along these lines for the autumn colour comp (I was in Cheltenham that day, but the weather bombed! :( )

I need to mess with this one more though:

Rojin, me thinks you should make a ghetto ND 110 filter with a wielding glass for your lens and shoot that tripod again on a semi cloudy but windy day - give some impressive epic feel behind that 'old man and little girl' statue :)

p.s. prefer that last shot most out of the 3 PP. First feels over done and second shots the sky too exposed.

I have the welding glass, need to sort out a mount though :)

I did blast the sky on purpose in the second, playing around in PP is addictive but not always productive! The first I was playing with shadows/highlights far too much from the look of it!

Mounts are cheap. Just get a Kenkoo with your lens thread and just directly super glue the ring onto it. No need any mount - down side is, you sacrifice the glass to only a said thread but it's still dirt cheap to get another one of another thread :p

This one is my favourite, the pathway creates so much DoF.

Ta, I needed to shift my feet a bit really to recompose. Unfortunately on the left is a hideous building (the new Gloscat) which I was trying to keep out of frame! How they ever got planning for it I'll never know :(
