The predicament

Im sure this has been asked a few times already but here goes.... May need a poll?

I can upgrade my phone to the Iphone 4 for £45 on a £36 per month contract (18 months) or I can upgrade to the 4S for £144 on the same contract.

Is the 4S worth the extra £99?

I would say it certainly is.

If you have time, you can watch the Apple Special Event video where the 4S was launched, although I couldn't tell you exactly when the phone is covered.

The 4S is a substantial upgrade in my opinon. Better processor, much better camera, Siri Digital Assistant with voice commands and dictation.

£99 difference is so small in the grand scheme of things and you're getting double the cpu, a better camera and Siri.

Contrary to them being titled 'spam' the thread was posted in GD and all of those were actually suggestions that he would be better of posting it in here, with mine suggesting a particular thread here... hey ho.

Back on topic, personally I was would say yes, it's easily worth the extra. It's not a huge sum for what is a much more powerful phone, especially if you don't already own an iPhone. It would be silly to go for an 'older' model so to speak.
