The process of finally moving out. How is it done?

Yes I did, from one end to the other end.

He isn't going back he is staying in education.

Where did he ask for everything on a plate then?

I don't think one super part time job would fit the difference if he's struggling with his bursary, as they would apparently be quite hard to come by, so what exactly is it you would expect someone in his situation to do?

Not sure what difference that makes, but ok.

Yes I did. I was making a point, you are living at home for a reason. You cannot afford to move out, if you want to move out get a better paying job (part-time or otherwise) or a 2nd job. Or go part-time education and full time employment.

I've been looking for second job that would fit in with my college + work schedule. They either want more flexibility or certain hours that just don't fit.

Or, you know, get on with your Mum.

Easier said than done.

Ditch the idea of going back to college and instead do a foundation year at university. Better experience, more focused learning and direct admission into specific university courses. If you are wanting to do science based stuff, this is the way to do it if you want to move out.

lol was having a look across UHI's website and this flashed up;

Is that the same as an Access to HE course?

Perhaps it is a choice between moving out this year or going to college this year.

A working gap year or two to establish your independence, then a return to education with life experience, some savings and a commitment to a career direction.
