Yes :D It's finally here. I can chat to friends while playing a game (hopefully) via BT headset without them having to be in the same game.

If Warhawk was coming earlier (July) I would be the happiest PS3 fan in the world. The only problem is the lack of half decent games atm. I'm waiting patiently (Launch day purchaser) but I'm getting bored of MS and RFOM. I'm crap at MS and too much RFOM can hurt your brain.
 
No the truth doesn't hurt. I told you I'm bored of the launch games. I'm simply saying, why do Xbox fans have to come in to the thread and try everything they can to put a downer on this news?

Telling me to "Get out", I must've annoyed you in someway, and it's clearly true that the PS3 had a weak launch lineup in comparison to the 360.

EDIT: In regards to the "Get Out" bit. It was more of a joke, not shouting at you, but still... no need for PS3 bashing. We PS3 fans need some moments of glory :p

yeah what the hell does a new ps3 firmware update go to do with launch line up titles, shut the hell up and leave this thread for people with ps3 or those interested in these new features which i am excited and happy to see, yeh for ps3 owners

I replied to someone else commenting on launch titles, maybe you should point at the person who started it all off?

Anyway, I do have a PS3 and I'll be happy with the features, is there any news on when the update is due out?
 
dude the comment was directed to whom it concerned, not especially yourself. As for release date I think we will hopefully find out at the end of this week when the nda is lifted from the sony gamers day event thats happening this week, and this news coincides with the psn update that happened last week, my guess would be within 2 weeks

It's not a fanboy comment at all, infact I have stated many times I prefer the Playstation 3 as a console, but software wise is where the xbox360 is vastly superior.

The simple fact that I work in games, own all 3 consoles, purchase games for all 3 consoles and own all the major consoles since the Snes mean I can't be a fanboy.

As for saying the PS3 launch line up is worse than the Xbox 360, I don't believe thats true. Maybe the exclusives list is larger, But I was under the impression that a lot of cross platform games are available on the PS3 also, Games that werent available for the 360 at launch.

If i'm wrong, i'm wrong though :)

I am now fully aware of the circumstances pertaining to something the was posted by my account (Leah). Fact is, I have been in the dark about what's been going on until today and it has had me worried.

Maybe I'm a bit naive, but something should have clicked when I had trouble logging on this afternoon. I never had the oppertunity to post such information, as I wasn't anywhere near my computer to do such a thing (Mother's Day).

To put an end to the now titled "Conspiracy", I would like to state that I'm souly and completely sorry for whatever this may have caused. As a side note, PLEASE don't ever take something posted (whether by me, or anyone) as fact unless it is provided by the creator's of such software/hardware (SCE).

I kinda think it was posted in error or possibly by someone else with the account details, then was told to write a statement debunking the earlier statement. I think it is true seems to be a bit to exact to be a lie. Also if i was going to make up an update i would have put in a few more "wow" factors.
Think we'll all just wait and see what happens, im more interested about this weeks gamers week than a firmware update anyway!
