US: The Punisher

Binged and finished.

Very entertaining and the violence was rather hardcore to say the least. nice to see a series that doesn't nanny about with hiding or masking it with quick cuts and whatnot.

Looking forward to season 2.
 
Finished it this weekend, I maybe even put it ahead of Daredevil, which I've considered to be the best of the bunch so far. Great story, great action, great pace, great acting.
 
I thought this was brilliant. Finished series last night and I think I'd class it as what I was expecting - given what I saw of him in Daredevil I was very pleased.

The point is there was a huge amount of violence (as you'd expect) but there were some great moments where you could see Castle hadn't been completely consumed by tragedy. It was good for them to bring Karen into the storyline as it made sense to do so more than anyone else.

I gave up on Agents a season or so ago; Iron Fist... I wanted to like it but just didn't do anything for me; Jessica Jones was just not for me; I haven't bothered with Defenders, Inhumans, Agent Carter and others just don't interest me.

I think the only series that was utter crap was inhumans, apart from that I’ll watch anything marvel/dc!

But I do love the dark adult tone of Daredevil and the Punisher the best.
 
This was the only Marvel series I've made it more than 3 episodes into, watched it all and really enjoyed it.

I watch Arrow and Flash as the missus will watch them but LoT is just pap (reminds me of watching the Power Rangers as an adult) and Supergirl... no thanks.

No chance you could portray The Punisher with the same tone as say Flash or Iron Fist - it's supposed to be dark and it absolutely carries that across.
