The Radeon RX 5700 XT Owners Thread.

Boosting to around 2025ish when it's fully loaded. Will test more tomorrow (Division 2 DX12, quite a taxing game and finds out unstable overclocks pretty quickly). Have taken off my cpu overclock in order to isolate any possible problems.

I picked up a 5700XT Red devil after selling my 2080Ti as a stop gap (Actually got more than I paid for the 2080Ti!!)

Gotta say, for the price its a beast of a card. Mine boosts itself up to 2075 with only 50% fan speed, with a max temp of 74c at the junction playing FS2020. It does help it's in a O11 XL with 10 fans, but damn - I am impressed.

Impressive. I have to ask, why did you prefer a 5700xt over a 2080ti?

And did you post a pic in this thread for the ROH?

Seems fine at 1.075v @LtMatt but 1.05v crashed within 5 mins so it's a no-go (dropped the boost clocks too much anyhow, whereas 1.075v maintains them quite well so looks like the best all-round setting) :)

My Ti comes back later, and although I'm tempted to keep it it's gonna be best that I sell and go with a new card Nov/Dec when both sides are released

Read the first person post of this thread. That's why the thread was created. And I'm nosy. I want to see what you got.:D

Tbf RoH can go suck my balls ;) :D

Not into willy waving, plus I change far too much to bother with it!! lol

Got a Gaming X, will post a pic up soon. My Ti has just come back from RMA and I was tempted to whack that in for a few weeks but it's come back sealed so I'll only knock some value off it if I open...

I have the non xl version of the o11D and gotta say it is a stellar case. Great for airflow and your best friend when it comes to water cooling.

I wanted to post some stats showing proof of concept that the drivers have shown an uptick in performance post 20.7.1. After 20.7.1 (IE: 20.7.2 and 20.8.1) performance improvements were targeted for specific games. Below, you will see that that the 5700xt is now on par, if at times beat, a 2070S. Which wasn't seen a few months back because a 5700xt wasn't near a 2070s.

Horizon Zero using 20.8.1 driver. Now what's interesting is that a 5700xt using 20.7.2 still beats a 2070s. But there is still a slight bump in performance using 20.8.1

Red Dead Redemption using 20.7.2

Formula 1 using 20.7.2

Death Stranding using 20.7.2

What I've seen most is lower input latency and better performance in the games I play.

Been playing with the Sapphire 5700 xt Nitro+

at stock it boosts to 2050mhz, when I try auto oc GPU in AMD it gives 2135mhz and while playing its around 2090mhz

played with MSI after burner and highest OC is the same AMD gives

Junction was reaching 100-105c my room is pretty humid now most of the time it will be much cooler so have to take that into consideration

At stock boosts shows 2035mhz while gaming its around 2050mhz junction would be around 104c

so thought I would try to match it while lowering voltage 1.150v couldnt go lower with same boost and got the following which seems stable so far
boost set to 2085mhz and while gaming it stays around 2055mhz with lower temps fan on auto and stay lower

think I will look back at this thread and see what kind of results others are getting

Isn't it? :D
What are you getting with it set to Auto GPU OC?

In AMD software Auto tuning GPU it sets it to 2135mhz ingame its around 2090mhz but with higher temps , I prefer using MSI afterburner to overclock , gonna leave it as it is currently using Afterburner maybe could try squeezing more but dont think its worth it
