if i send small freighters and 1 light fighter how much base defence could they overcome? would it be worth it?

[OcUK] sounds like a good idea - if there isn't an alliance setup already.

you can use a program called speedsim to see how effective your fleet will be against a defense fleet.

As you may have noticed the website is German but it isn't too hard to get your head around

It's how long since there was fleet activity on the planet. Although after one hour it goes blank.

Also to answer your other question, noob protection is when someone is green on the galaxy and they cannot be attacked. This happens when that person has 1/5 or less of your score. People who are red are people who can't attack you because you are noob protected against them (i.e. they have x5 or more of your score).
