Well I have just found a planet an hour away from me with no defense and level 16 mines. Has about 50k of each resource aswell and the player who owns it is inactive (i.e it will keep supplying free stuff).

Basically I am going to send as many transports I can to it before a stronger player tells me not to (I think it MUST be being farmed by another player).

Free and easy resources.

Edit: If inactive it doesn't keep producing?

James, I just built small cargos & didn't worry about fighters etc.. for the time being. I've 14 at the minute and if each one comes back full that's 70000 of resoucres each run. I'm hoping to start on the large cargos by tomorrow once I'm up to Combustion Engine level 6.

Build a probe and scan inactive players, you'll see which ones have good resouces and you can raid them.

I currently have just 42 points. I just launched a successful raid with 3 small cargos. I should have 5k+ of each mineral when they arrive. The person I have attacked as been inactive for a few days aswell.

Inactive people keep producing resources. It's the ones in vacation mode who don't produce resources.

Yep, they'll keep producing, I've just came across one with a few hundred thousand of each resource and an energy of over 4000 so I'll be digging about in his back yard for a bit.

Edit: I hope it's not the same boy you found earlier davey, lol.

If it is there won't be much left when you get there, he's already given me 295426 Metal, 221350 Crystal and 107071 Deuterium, and my 3rd wave will be there in 17 minutes to take some more. I'll have taken about 80% of his starting resources by the time I'm done.

I'd assumed that sending a cargo full of resource along with a colony ship would allow you to drop off those resources ready to b used on your new colony, but no, it just turns round and comes back with the resource you sent it with.
What kind of idots am I hiring here. :mad
