well started the rebuilding quite a few resources sent by cchaps on here, thankyou.

Have started transporting my res from my colonies to home base to get research done, not going to bother with much of a fleet until i get my nanite factory.

Currently computer tech level 7 and robotic factory level 9, one of those will be upgraded tomorrow when my convoy of resources arrives.

Until then keeping as little as i can on my home planet and devoting 90% to research 10% or so to defence.

still got a decent defence, easily enoughi would think for anyone to bother with compared to the resources that i have.

thing is mate it wasnt a chore honestly,

got used to fleetsaving but my BB wouldnt connect this morning before i went to work, I knew my fleet was at homebase and wanted to fleetsave just couldnt connect to the damn interweb to do it.

thats even worse. damn. contact the BB provider explaining it and if they play the game they have to send you the res to cover your losses. one of em must play it. ;) :D
 
lol shall try that and see what happens.

EDIt got about 200k of resources due to land at home base around 6:30am tommorrow, better connect in the morning otherwise i will not be too pleased if i lose that as well !

I have never been attacked, but I am getting a little nervous as I am sitting on a big pile waiting for some research to finish. How much notice do you get of an attack, I am assuming a message when the attacker sets off?

Yup, as soon as they set off you'll know about it, though if you don't refresh the Overview screen every now and then you won't actually spot it.
 
I had to destroy one of the colonies in my solar system due to it giving me a 51 field planet in position 6 :(. How long does it take for the destroyed planet to become re-coloniseable again as at the moment I can't send a colony ship to it.

normally its about 90mins+ as they can only travel at the speed of the cargos. unless its your next door neighbour and then its about 50mins to get to ya. :)
 
Hi everyone, just back from my 2 week holiday. I was lucky enough to use my cousins new rig (SLi 7800GTX, X2 4800+ and 10mb connection :eek: ). I have been building my colony up.

Has much happened over the last two weeks?

Interesting :). Looks like war might be upon us soon.

I have 40 large transports ready for some serious raiding ;) . I should also be able to build some cruisers soon aswell.

I'm sorry to say that if you've not built cruisers yet you'd likely get wasted in a war with TUPA. I'm almost building Bombers, have a Nanite factory and I'm still nowhere near the level of some of the TUPA players :(

For now anyway ;)
 
My first "active" attack is on it's way, hoping to get 150K Metal, 150K Crystal & 130K Deut from it, that combined with what I have will get my level 10 Comp Tech. Need another level of Robotic Factory which isn't much then the next step is my Nanite Factory, I hope they're as good as they're made out to be. :D

Building the nanite factory halves the production time for all buildings, ships and defensive units. Each upgrade to the nanite factory halves it again. I think it's been worth it, I seem to be pulling in well over 1mil res per day from my raids, so I can now spend it much quicker :)
 
I should be able to build a nanite factory fairly soon. I spent all my resources on expensive research projects to ensure that my planet was not worth raiding.

P.S. Just researched the cruiser. Time to start building ;)
