The return of Crocodile Dundee..starring....Danny McBride

There's a conspiracy theory currently going around that this isn't actually a new film but an elaborate advertising campaign for "something else" that will peak during the Super Bowl in a few weeks.

I hope so because it sounds awful

I can't remember the specifics so I'll just drop this Daily Fail link and run, sorry! - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbi...s-Crocodile-Dundee-Super-Bowl-commercial.html

I hope it is fake but if it is just an advertising job then it may be backfiring a bit.

Storyline
Crocodile Dundee is back. Well, actually, he's missing in the Outback. And the only person who might be able to find him is the loudmouthed American son no-one knew he had.
Introducing Danny McBride as Brian Dundee. This son of a legend is forced to channel his Aussie roots as he embarks on the ultimate adventure in the land down under.
It's time to live up to the family name.

Director:
Steve Rogers
Stars:
Chris Hemsworth, Danny McBride, Paul Hogan

The annoying thing is this has kinda made me want to see another Crocodile Dundee film, but done properly with a good script.

Yeah, never happening

Paul Hogan is 78 at the moment so that would be...problematic.

the original Crocodile Dundee films worked because they were the classic 'fish out of water' scenario. He was perfectly at home in the outback, she was comfortable in New York and both had to learn to adapt to each other's environment.

Perhaps something around their children, brought up between worlds and not able to fit in either
