The Riddle Thread

Ok.... Probably been done before, but let's do it anyway

Basically it's simple rules, First person posts a "riddle" or somesuch, and someone answers it then poses a new one. As there tend to be a lot of crossovers in these threads, can we please try and follow the simple guidelines of:

Quote the riddle you're solving.
Don't post a new riddle unless you have, answered someone elses or there's no unanswered riddles



I'll start with an easy one:

9 + 9 = 12

What does 9 + 11 equal?
