The Riddle Thread

Ok.... Probably been done before, but let's do it anyway :p

Basically it's simple rules, First person posts a "riddle" or somesuch, and someone answers it then poses a new one. As there tend to be a lot of crossovers in these threads, can we please try and follow the simple guidelines of:

Quote the riddle you're solving.
Don't post a new riddle unless you have, answered someone elses or there's no unanswered riddles :p



I'll start with an easy one:

9 + 9 = 12

What does 9 + 11 equal?

Well in that case answer this for me.

How do you cut a bannana up into slices with out cutting or peeling the skin? :)

With a needle? Must pierce the skin somehow :)

With a needle and some thread, to sow a loop round the inside of the skin and when you get to where you started, pull it through the banana?
