LOL.. Maybe we need a parliamentary phrasebook for the layman.

We = You
Oversight = I've stolen something
Error in judgement = I've been caught stealing.
I'll pay back any money I stole = I should be in prison.
Outrageous behaviour = He's been caught again.
We're in this together = I'm on holiday again.
Realities of austerity = We're having a £10-20K pay rise.
Pay for an empty room = Pay my second mortgage.
Food bank = The houses of parliament restaurant is subsidised by the tax payer.
