The Room

I've mentioned is so many times on here. An absolute must see of a film. Truly the worst creation in movie history.

I've had this on DVD for AGES, but haven't bothered to watch it.

I reckon this is my movie for this weekend's boozing!

I'd definitely think twice when combining it with alcohol. It's really difficult to watch. Honestly, words cannot describe just how monumentally bad it is. Sure, it has awful acting and ridiculous dialogue - which is funny in itself - but they're so bad that a lot of it is just plain torture to watch.

I saw it at the cinema during the summer. It was awesome. When you go in you get given a 'viewing guide' that contains all the various things you're supposed to shout or do at various points in the film, and there are people with buckets of plastic spoons walking round handing them out :D

worse than meet the Spartans?

Yes. At least Meet the Spartans was an attempt at a spoof. The Room is so painfully bad that it's difficult to watch and this is compounded when you realise that it was made with sincerity, with the director trying to make the best movie he could possibly make.

It's truly, truly horrific. It makes any Friedberg and Seltzer film look like high art.

In saying that, though, it's worth watching for the experience. I found it really difficult to comprehend how someone could make something this bad. It's also hilarious but only when watched with a group of people. It's like being waterboarded if you watch it alone.

I have to do this :D

hah, I had the same experience twice at The Duke of Yorks cinema in Brighton, everyone was being so loud you could hardly hear the film! Great fun :D

Also the sex scenes with Tommy Wiseau looked like potatoes fighting in a Hessian sack :(

It's awesomely awful. A few friends and I watched it a few months back, and by the end we were in pain from laughing so much.
