As also mentioned at the moment the only way to get 60hz on the 4K monitors is display port....waiting until better connection options appear would be better.
I also watched a review of one of the 4K monitors, think it was a dell saying how some games didn't register the resolution and only played in the centre of the screen. There are also issues with windows and the fact that it reads it as two screens and sometimes causes glitches and other issues.
Its the same with any new tech early adopters pay extra and are testers. The opening post of this thread was about is it time for 4K......I think it isn't, unless you have to have the latest technology.
